A coat of arms represents strengths and protective (resiliency) factors each individual may have.

What would you put on your shield? Some example might include:

    • Supportive people in your life
    • Skills or talents that you have (ex. I make delicious Mac and Cheese)
    • Activities that you enjoy (ex. Reading books)
    • Strengths that you have (ex. I am a good listener)

Instructions

    • Draw a shield with 4 quadrants or click here to download one.
    • Identify four strengths or values you have 
    • Think about how each of the 4 factors you identified has helped you in the past.
    • On your shield, draw these 4 factors 

Ideas for strengths you might identify:

Social Support

  • The physical and emotional comfort we give and receive from those we love
