What are the Signs of a Fentanyl Overdose?
Some of the common signs include:
- Tiny pupils
- Not moving and can’t be woken.
- Slow or no breathing
- Choking, gurgling sounds or snoring
- Clammy or cold skin
- Blue lips and blue nails

One of the most described characteristics of a fentanyl overdose is the rapid speed of onset. That is, symptoms of an overdose can occur within seconds to minutes. Some common characteristics of a fentanyl overdose in particular include:
- A person’s lips immediately turning blue
- Gurgling sounds while breathing
- Stiffening of the body or seizure-like activity
- Foaming at the mouth
- Confusion or strange behaviour before the person becomes unresponsive
