Lesson 1 of 28
In Progress

Introduction

This module will explore the topic of fentanyl, including how it impacts the brain and body, its side effects, how it enters the body, risk factors, and how to manage fentanyl use.

Fentanyl has found its way into many communities. Given its potency (power), fentanyl is largely responsible for many of the overdoses that we see today. British Columbia has reported an opioid crisis that has spanned over six years now, and most illicit drug deaths since then have involved fentanyl.

By the end of the module, you will have a better understanding of fentanyl, and better understand your individual risk factors and ways to protect yourself.

This module serves to act as an educational resource to learn more about the drug in general, and potentially connect you with other resources that you might find helpful.
