Set Goals to Conquer your Pain
Goal setting can help you to keep track of where you started and how far you’ve come with your pain. Achieving your goals, no matter how small, can make a difference in what you need and want to do despite your pain.
Why it is important to set goals:
- Increases motivation to stay consistent in your pain management plan
- Increases compliance to take medication or attend treatment sessions
- Gain a sense of control to feel empowered in your own well being
- Track progress and makes it possible to adjust pain management strategies
