As you may know, cravings are strong physical feelings or desire for drugs. These signals are coming from your brain, which are used to having access to drugs.   

 Cravings can be present or more powerful when you are near a trigger. Triggers are things in your environment that remind you of using substances.  One way to handle cravings is to come up with alternative behaviours 

 Just because you feel cravings does not mean that you are ‘failing’ treatment or not trying hard enough. Cravings are completely normal and very common. Remember that recovery is not always a linear process!
